Job summary

The Keene School District seeks an energetic Elementary Spanish Teacher to deliver world language instruction to young learners. The position splits time between Symonds Elementary School (60%) and Franklin Elementary School (40%), within SAU 29 in Keene, NH.

The educator will design age-appropriate Spanish lessons, foster an inclusive classroom culture, and coordinate across two campuses. Certification and a bachelor’s degree are required, with a Master’s degree preferred.

The Keene School District is seeking an energetic, collaborative, and dedicated Elementary Spanish Teacher to deliver high-quality World Language instruction to young learners. This full-time position splits time between two vibrant school communities within the district: Symonds Elementary School (60%) and Franklin Elementary School (40%). The ideal candidate will foster an inclusive, engaging, and culturally rich classroom environment that introduces elementary students to Spanish language acquisition and Hispanic cultures.

• Curriculum & Instruction: Design and deliver age-appropriate, standards-based Spanish lessons (FLES model) focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and basic writing skills.
