Job summary

Austin Preparatory School in Reading, MA is seeking a qualified Spanish Teacher to design and deliver curriculum aligned with school and department standards for grades 6–12. The position reports to the Department Chair and supports the Augustinian mission.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree, is fluent in Spanish, and has 3–5 years of school-based teaching experience. Strong technical skills with Apple, PC, and MS Office are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish.
• 3-5 years’ experience working with students in a school setting.
• Proficient level of technical knowledge (i.e. Apple, PC, MS Office)

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum approved by the school and the academic department in support of the school's mission.
• Teach Spanish to students in grades 6-12 and collaborate with department colleagues.
• Report to the Department Chair and Assistant Head/Head of the Upper School.
