$85,000.00/yr – $120,000.00/yr

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Physical Therapist to join the team at its Union Health clinic. New graduates are welcome to apply. Therapists are responsible for setting clear expectations for your patients’ clinical progress, executing treatments as promised, and providing items or documents such as Home Exercise Programs. They are expected to maintain a high standard of clinical excellence while delivering 5‑star customer service, turning passion for the craft into real impact by delivering on promises. Spear fosters a true community environment for both patients and team members; therefore, a collaborative spirit is valued to ensure everyone receives the care and support they need.

Qualifications

• License to practice Physical Therapy in the State of New York

Physical Demand Capacity

• Requires manual dexterity and general strength and endurance
• Lifting: routines loads of 5‑35 lbs (floor to waist; waist to shoulder; shoulder to overhead)
• Carrying: routine loads of 5‑10 lbs for 40‑50’
• Pushing: routine loads of 5‑150 lbs on casters, runners or pulleys
• Sustaining a grip: routine for 1‑2 minutes of 40‑50 lbs
• Guarding a “lift load” routine of 120‑140 lbs
