Job summary

Evolving Solution Services in Bloomfield, CT is seeking a Spanish-speaking Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support clients with physical, emotional, and cognitive impairments. Qualifications

• Must have completed Personal Care training and competency.
• Fluency in Spanish is required for effective communication with the individual and family.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• PCA certificate and/or CNA or equivalent is required.
• Successful clearance of background checks is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal-care needs.
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as authorized.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.
• Provide medication reminders within the PCA’s authorized scope.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Accompany the individual to appointments, errands, and approved community activities.
• Monitor well-being and report changes or concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow the care plan and agency policies and procedures.
• Complete accurate service documentation and timesheets.
