Job summary
A behavioral health organization in Salem, Oregon is seeking passionate individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. In this role, you'll implement individualized plans for children with autism, using techniques to teach essential skills. Ideal candidates should be compassionate and patient, and capable of physical activity required for the role. Comprehensive training is provided. Qualifications
Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
Responsibilities
Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans.
Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
