Job summary

• Provide concise, objective interpretation for patients with limited English proficiency across the Medical Center.
• Interpret in person, by video and by phone in languages such as Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin and Vietnamese.
• Work as part of the health care team under direction of the Administrative Director.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality in all interactions.
• Organize and prioritize assignments to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Provide translations, proofreading and localization of documents as needed for patient education and engagement.
