Spring Independent School District seeks a LOTE (Spanish) Teacher for high school for the 2026-2027 school year in Houston, TX. The position reports to the Principal and is Exempt with a Teacher Salary Scale.

Starting date is immediately and the posting runs until filled. Responsibilities include planning and delivering Spanish instruction, assessing student progress, maintaining records, and collaborating with staff and families to support student success.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned.
• Fluent in Spanish.
• At least one year of student teaching or approved internship.

Responsabilidades

• Teaches in accordance with staff assignment.
• Displays effective teaching practices to engage students and promote learning.
• Designs lesson plans with short- and long-term goals; includes real-world relevance.
