The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inc. invites applications for a full-time Assistant Teaching Professor of Spanish at the University of Oregon. Required: MA in Spanish or related field and college-level teaching experience in Spanish. The department seeks collaborative, diverse candidates who can contribute to curriculum

Qualifications

• MA in Spanish or a closely related field before start date.
• College-level instructional experience teaching Spanish at beginning and intermediate levels.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Spanish language and culture courses at beginning and intermediate levels (lower- and upper-division).
• Collaborate with graduate students and faculty in a multi-section program.
• Manage a full course load of 9 courses per year (three per quarter).
