Job summary

MasterWord Services, Inc. seeks bilingual Spanish/English interpreters for in-person assignments in Colorado. You will facilitate communication between patients and healthcare staff, ensuring clear understanding and confidentiality in medical encounters.

Preference given to those with interpretation experience and a two-year degree or equivalent. Roles offer flexible hours, on-site work, and a paid in-person training period and background checks as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English fluency required, with interpretation experience preferred.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred but not required.
• Two-year degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation between Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking staff in healthcare settings.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy during interpretations.

Requirements:

• Have informal or professional interpretation experience
• Are fluent in both SpanishandEnglish
• It is preferred to have at least a two-year degree (or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one yearof related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Experience in the healthcare industry experience is preferred, although not required (for example, pharmacy tech/pharmacist, nursing home, hospital, hospice, patient tech, practicum hours as part of a nursing program, pharmaceutical rep, CNA, LVN, RN, volunteering at a hospital.
