Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking Spanish interpreters for the Reading, PA area. As an independently contracted interpreter, you will facilitate communication for LEP communities across diverse settings.

LSA continuously accepts qualified interpreters for a wide range of assignments. Responsibilities include providing superior customer service, upholding confidentiality, following professional protocols, meeting client clearance requirements, and reporting to assignments promptly.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English and Spanish
• Ability to provide a high level of client service
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)

• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry-specific best practices

As a member of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments!
