Job description

Culmen International is seeking a bilingual Spanish Linquist/Translator to support operations in Tucson, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Provide Spanish-language simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for meetings and operational coordination.
• Provide written translation and review of analytic, operational, and intelligence products.
• Provide interpretation support at the General/Flag Officer and Senior Executive Service (SES) level.
• Operate Sennheiser (or equivalent) interpretation equipment.
• Translate technical documents containing military, intelligence, and law enforcement terminology.
• Maintain engagement records and translation/interpretation activity logs.
• Provide an Intelligence Specialist with the principal place of performance in Tucson, Arizona (JIATF-CC), to serve as SME, Intelligence Plans, Programs and Systems, with knowledge of CTOC operations.
• Assist in the development of intelligence planning, intelligence systems architecture requirements, and intelligence training.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 4 (Full Professional Proficiency) in both reading and speaking, as measured by the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT), Foreign Service Institute (FSI) scale, or equivalent Government-recognized assessment. Documentation of proficiency shall be provided to the Government upon request.
• Bachelor's degree from a college or university.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
