Overview

Spanish Bilingual Production Scheduler - Food Manufacturing

Location: Commerce, CA

Work Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm (M-F)

Employment Type: Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Direct-Hire

We are seeking a Production Scheduler to support efficient daily operations at a food manufacturing facility.

This position is approximately 70% desk-based (planning, reporting, and coordination) and 30% on the production floor, ensuring schedules and operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with multiple departments to keep production on track.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and respond to emails promptly to maintain effective communication.
  • Review daily production results and plan for upcoming production needs.
  • Update inventory tracking files in ERP system and production reports for planning purposes.
  • Record and update orders to ensure accurate inventory control.
  • Adjust production and packing schedules based on order and inventory status.
  • Coordinate purchase orders and ingredient requests in advance of production.
  • Prepare and submit KPI reports to track production performance.
  • Provide general clerical support using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PDF tools.
  • Participate in employee engagement activities such as Employee of the Month events.
Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
  • Experience in inventory management.
  • Experience in production scheduling and/or food manufacturing.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable working both at a desk and on the production floor.
  • Basic knowledge of digital tools such as tablets and electronic control systems.
