Job summary

HeyTutor is partnering with a local Baltimore school district to recruit in-person Elementary tutoring specialists. We are hiring Spanish bilingual Math Tutors for grades 3–5, with compensation of $22–$26 per hour and consistent weekday hours.

Applicants must have an AA degree or higher (or be enrolled in college) and pass an FBI-DOJ in-person background check. This is ideal for education majors, aspiring teachers, and tutors seeking meaningful community impact.

Qualifications

• AA degree or higher (or currently enrolled in college)
• Spanish bilingual is required
• Experience working with children or tutoring preferred
• Able to pass FBI-DOJ in-person background check

Responsibilities

• Tutor groups of students without direct teacher supervision
• Deliver lessons using provided curriculum and materials
• Create an engaging, welcoming learning environment
• Support positive student behavior and participation
• Track attendance and student progress using HeyTutor Dashboard
• Assist with student assessments when requested
• Escort students to and from designated areas on campus
• Clock in/out daily using Deputy
• Complete additional duties as assigned
