Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with a certification in Language Other Than English (LOTE): ASL or Spanish.
• Experience with the general needs of children at this grade level and ability to work cooperatively with staff, students, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provides general instruction to students by developing and implementing lesson plans meeting the district curriculum.
• Work with staff to determine instructional goals, objectives and methods.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement through formal and informal testing.
• Assume responsibility for extracurricular activities as assigned.
• Be a positive role model for students and support campus/district mission.
• Establish and maintain open communication with students, parents, administration, and staff.
