Job summary

Cowboy Space Corp. is seeking a Structural Analyst to own the full lifecycle of structural prediction and data for the team. You will derive load cases, analyze static strength, fatigue life, and damage tolerance, and correlate test data back into models to empower the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience performing structural analysis for flight vehicles or similar hardware.
• Strong fundamentals in solid mechanics, stability, materials behavior, and damage-tolerance methods.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of structural prediction and data for the team, from load definition to correlated, test-anchored models.
• Derive and maintain structural load sets, including quasi-static/dynamic loads and on-orbit environments.
• Perform static strength, stability, fatigue, and damage-tolerance analyses with appropriate margins.
• Develop tools, scripts, templates, and checklists to document and verify structural analyses for repeatability across engineers.
• Define test objectives, pass/fail criteria, and support various testing with predictive insights.
