Craig Technologies is seeking an innovative Thermal Analysis Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX and Merritt Island, FL. The candidate will support detailed thermal modeling, analysis, and environmental verification of spacecraft and aerospace systems destined for cislunar and lunar orbit missions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in aerospace thermal control systems.
  • Proficiency with Thermal Desktop (SINDA/FLUINT) or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with thermal design standards and orbital heat fluxes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed thermal analyses of spacecraft systems and payloads using Thermal Desktop.
  • Develop, refine, and correlate high-fidelity thermal models for thermal control systems.
  • Plan and execute environmental TVAC testing to meet mission requirements.
  • Collaborate with design, structural, systems, and test teams to integrate thermal management strategies.
  • Analyze test telemetry and update models to improve flight prediction accuracy.
