Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced technician to design and build hardware/test assets for the Lunar Lander program. You will assemble electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshoot electronics, and update drawings using CREO/Windchill.

You will support flight avionics integration and system tests with a focus on safety and quality. Requires a 2-year related degree and 4+ years of experience with electrical/electro-mechanical assemblies, plus IPC/WHMA standards.

Qualifications

• 2 year Associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering technology, mechanical or similar discipline.
• 4+ years of industry experience with electrical/electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Certifications: IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and drawings.
• Proficient with CREO modeling and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Order and track parts and materials for Component Test hardware assemblies.
• Kit materials and organize transfers between storage, labs and assembly areas.
• Assemble Component Test electrical and mechanical systems.
• Build, test and rework cable assemblies and perform checkout.
• Load software and drivers onto computers and instruments.
• Update Component Test documentation and drawings using CREO/Windchill.
• Support integration of flight avionics and ground support equipment.
• Maintain calibration schedule and manage calibration activities.
