Job summary

A leading aerospace technology firm in Wisconsin is seeking a Spacecraft Functional Test Engineer II to join their Assembly, Test and Launch Operations team. You will be responsible for verifying spacecraft performance from integration through launch, developing and executing functional test campaigns. The role requires collaboration across various engineering disciplines and involves hands-on testing, system verification and efficient execution of automated test procedures. Ideal candidates are passionate engineers with at least 2 years of experience in complex electromechanical systems.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in spacecraft, aerospace, or complex electromechanical system test environments.
  • Hands-on experience developing or executing functional or system-level test procedures.
  • Experience with spacecraft-level testing, including power-on and mission simulation campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute spacecraft functional and system-level test procedures.
  • Design and maintain automated test scripts and configurations.
  • Collaborate with engineers to define test requirements.
