Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5-10 years in structural dynamics.
• Experience writing environmental test plans and correlating models with data.
• Proficiency in analytical simulations and FEM modeling with Nastran/Python/MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, and execute environmental testing profiles including GVT and modal testing.
• Construct detailed FEMs, superelements, and test display models for dynamic analyses.
• Perform structural hand calculations and numerical simulations to evaluate margins.
• Collaborate to define test plans, instrumentation layouts, accelerometer locations.
• Provide on-site engineering support during testing to meet targets and safety.
• Analyze test telemetry in time/frequency domains to troubleshoot anomalies.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations communicating results and recommendations.
• Other duties as assigned.
