  • Work with other engineering teams to integrate compute and power subsystems with the rest of the spacecraft
  • Make sure work meets industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Document design processes, test results and system performance
  • Train and guide fellow engineers on grounding for spacecraft flight and test configurations
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of core electrical engineering experience in aerospace, with a heavy focus on hands on spacecraft hardware testing and assembly (4 to 10 years is ideal)
  • Proficiency in PCB design software such as Altium, KiCad or Eagle
  • Proven PCB debugging skills with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and hand soldering and rework tools
  • Clean room experience and strict adherence to ESD protocols
  • Works well with others in a fast moving environment and keeps a positive, professional attitude
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Willing and eligible to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance
  • Local to the LA area preferred, but candidates from outside LA are welcome and relocation assistance is offered

    • Experience with IPC Class board assembly standards
    • EMI/EMC and magnetics analysis and testing
    • Designing and building wiring harnesses for EGSE and flight use
    • Integrating custom electronics into larger spacecraft systems
    • Designing and implementing spacecraft level grounding and shielding schemes
