Spacecraft Operations Systems Engineer (RPO)

Telemetry Today LLC; Costa Mesa (CA); Hybride; USD 146 000 - 194 000; Plein temps

Résumé du poste

Anduril Industries is seeking a Spacecraft Operations Systems Engineer for RPO to own plan, rehearsal, and flight operations of nearby objects. You will validate procedures against hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and run day-in-the-life simulations while coordinating with GNC, flight software, and ground software teams to keep missions safe and on schedule.

This role supports DoD/IC programs and requires TS clearance, a strong aerospace/flight dynamics background, and hands-on spaceflight

Qualifications

• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret clearance.
• Engineering background in Aerospace, Astrodynamics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional spacecraft operations, mission planning, or flight dynamics experience.
• Direct RPO experience on flown or near-flight mission: planning or execution.
• Experience supporting AI&T procedures, mission rehearsals, and readiness reviews.
• Clear written communication, including procedures and training material.
• Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems.

Responsabilités

• Design and own RPO mission plans: relative motion design, approach/hold sequencing, delta-V budgets, and timing with passes and ground contacts.
• Incorporate passive safety into every approach to avoid collision risks.
• Write flight rules and procedures for close approach and screening.
• Own mission operations plans across all phases: LEOP, commissioning, on-orbit checkout, operations.
• Drive pre-launch campaigns: day-in-the-life, rehearsals, inject failures, implement changes.
• Validate procedures on flatsats and hardware-in-the-loop testbeds before flight hardware.
• Feed operational constraints back into GNC, flight software, ground software, and comms design.
• Train operators and mission crews on Anduril spacecraft and RPO execution.
