Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Spacecraft Operations Engineer II/Senior to ensure optimal performance of its growing fleet of satellites. Located in Long Beach, CA, you will support missions ranging from LEO constellations to interplanetary exploration, working closely with various engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 2+ years of experience in spacecraft operations, and active U.S. Government Security Clearance. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct experience in space mission design or spacecraft operations.
• Software development experience in high-level languages.
• Active U.S. Government Security Clearance with TS eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test flight and ground software.

• Support various space missions and operations.

Skills

Software development (Python/Ruby/C/C++)

Understanding of spacecraft subsystems
