Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer II to lead integration and test campaigns for spacecraft systems, and to define verification plans. You will develop acceptance, qualification, and R&D test plans, and maintain environmental test systems and ground support equipment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in electrical, electronics, mechatronics, aerospace, or related engineering field.
• Experience with environmental testing (thermal vacuum, random vibration).
• 4+ years as a test engineer in aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own integration and test campaigns at various spacecraft development levels.
• Define system requirements, verification and validation plans.
• Develop acceptance, qualification, and R&D test plans for spacecraft systems.
• Develop and maintain environmental test systems (Vibe, TVAC, Thermal, EMI).
• Maintain ground support equipment and facilities.
• Interface with ground test software and implement flight software changes.
• Lead investigations into anomalous vehicle behavior.
• Interface with hardware-in-the-loop test systems.
