Job summary

Qualifications

• Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student and be enrolled in Fall 2027.
• Majoring in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Knowledge of Creo or other CAD software.
• Experience and success working within teams.
• Proven ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Technical attention to detail on past projects and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties contributing to Integration and Test activities for space vehicle systems and their supporting hardware.
• Support developing test procedures, processes, software, and hardware designs that meet space vehicle requirements.
• Test space flight hardware safely, identifying hazards and constraints to ensure hardware health.
• Analyze test results and determine that space flight hardware operates as expected.
• Work in a team that covers all I&T activities for the space vehicle being tested.
