Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer II to join the AI&T team on the Terawave program. You will develop and execute electrical verification procedures—continuity checks, data bus testing, power bus verification, and fault injection—with increasing autonomy alongside senior engineers.

You will capture anomalies, contribute to test reports, and help improve the electrical test program in a high-tempo spacecraft development environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical test, hardware verification, or system integration in aerospace/defense.
• Ability to operate standard electrical test equipment and interpret data against criteria.
• Experience developing/executing formal test procedures in controlled docs.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical interface checks, continuity, power bus, and data bus tests under supervision.
• Perform timing/latency measurements and fault injection per procedures; record pass/fail results.
• Develop test procedures under senior guidance and drive through reviews.
• Capture anomalies with detail for root-cause investigation and track status.
• Author test reports summarizing results and open items for tests.
• Update documentation after test execution and adjust procedures as needed.
• Support test campaign planning: bench readiness, hardware, and equipment configuration.
• Maintain ESD discipline and bench cleanliness during tests.
• Identify improvements to tests to reduce cycle time; escalate to seniors.
