Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Spacecraft Engineer to join the Spacecraft Constellation Operations, Reliability, and Engineering team in Westminster, CO. You will help maintain health and safety, optimize performance, and resolve anomalies across Vantor’s spacecraft constellation.

The role involves cross-disciplinary collaboration with system, ground, software, and operations teams to design, develop, and test next-generation spacecraft. A security clearance will be required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or eligible for Secret clearance.
• 2+ years in aerospace operations or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with substitution option.

Responsibilities

• Maintain spacecraft health and safety across operations.
• Trend spacecraft health and performance metrics with tools.
• Define and refine concepts of operations to meet mission demands.
• Define anomaly resolution processes and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and document spacecraft anomalies.
• Support spacecraft commissioning plans/tools and launch rehearsals.
• Participate in design reviews and testing of future spacecraft.
• Provide knowledge of spacecraft operations and capabilities.
