Job summary

Opterus is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Composite Technician II to join our production team in Loveland, Colorado. You will perform composite production processes to manufacture lightweight, high-strength spacecraft components such as rollable booms and deployable antennas, following drawings and work instructions.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in aerospace composite manufacturing, hands-on experience with layup, vacuum bagging, curing, bonding, and tooling preparation, plus strong

Qualifications

• Must have 2–4 years in composite manufacturing or related aerospace work.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and manuals.
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Perform composite production processes including layup, bonding, curing, and trimming.
• Follow drawings and documentation to assemble high-quality composites.
• Operate tools to bond, laminate, cut, vacuum bag, and cure materials.
• Maintain equipment and materials for fabrication and record production activities.
