Varda Space Industries, Inc. in El Segundo, CA is seeking an Avionics Systems engineer to oversee the design, integration, and testing of avionics for the Winnebago vehicle. You will ensure readiness for launch and reentry operations through robust verification and cross-team collaboration.

The role requires a strong background in avionics, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and practical problem-solving to meet mission objectives and validate space manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of system design, test planning, and validation experience.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with power supplies, modular DAQ systems, RTD and 4-20mA devices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee avionics system design, integration, and testing for Winnebago vehicle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and drive from concept to production.
• Develop electrical architecture, system diagrams, and budgets for power, telemetry, and mass.
