Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Sunnyvale is seeking a dedicated Space Vehicle Systems Engineer to join the TTW team. The role serves as a technical advocate for the space vehicle through its lifecycle, balancing performance, cost, schedule, and risk to achieve mission success.

The candidate will work with the engineering team on verification, integration, and analysis, and may travel for subcontractor oversight during launch campaigns.

Qualifications

• Experience with spaceflight-quality hardware troubleshooting.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance; US citizenship required.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems design and verification.

Responsibilities

• Verify that the technical design meets customer mission requirements.
• Summarize technical issues concisely to present solutions and execution plans to customers.
• Participate in failure analyses to identify root cause and corrective actions.
• Travel occasionally to provide subcontractor oversight and technical expertise during launch campaigns.
