Job summary

Terran Orbital in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced Systems Integration Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team to build, integrate, and test space vehicles at the sub-system and system levels.

The role is on a Weekday shift (6:00AM–4:30PM) with levels I or II. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance are required; hands-on work in a production aerospace environment with challenging projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM field required.
• 0+ years (Associate Engineer - level I) or 2+ years (Engineer - level II) of relevant experience.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute assembly and test campaigns for space vehicles.
• Write and review assembly and test procedures; manage work orders and nonconformances.
• Interface with engineers/technicians to progress to larger-scale manufacturing and automation.
• Evaluate designs for manufacturability and system integration.
• Hands-on role requiring standing and multi-project management.
