Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain and repair HVAC support equipment across facilities, including air handlers, chilled water systems, and cooling towers. The role requires adherence to safety policies and regulatory standards while performing preventative maintenance and system modifications.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 3+ years of experience, with preferred associates in HVAC technology and ARI certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of professional experience working with HVAC, pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC support equipment on facilities systems including air handlers, chilled water, condenser pumps, cooling towers, valves, filters, etc.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule on launch associated HVAC systems
• Collaborate with engineering and managers to maintain systems in peak operating condition
• Follow all regulations and appropriate the company procedures including quality policies, safety policies, and standards per OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, NFPA, ASME, NEC
• Perform ductwork modifications and various repairs
• Perform brazing, soldering, evacuation and charging of various refrigerants
• Perform water piping and insulation modifications and repairs
