Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a resilient AI&T Technician to oversee testing and maintenance of hardware including Space Suits and ancillary systems. The Technician will train fellow team members, perform repairs, inspections, and functional testing while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate has significant experience with pressure systems and possesses the ability to read mechanical drawings. This lab-based role may require weekend work to meet deadlines, and requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of related experience, preferably with pressure systems.
• Track record of delivering outcomes in ambiguous environments.
• Passion for space and the mission.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training technicians for maintenance and testing.
• Perform functional performance testing of space suit components.
• Provide specified training to maintain necessary certifications.
