SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Space Suit Sewer to contribute to missions by sewing space suits and crew equipment designed for comfort, functionality and innovative design.
You will sew space suits on industrial sewing machines, assemble crew gear, and maintain machine settings. The role requires a high school diploma and 5+ years in sewing, with preferred experience in technical fabrics and aerospace standards.

As a space suit sewer at SpaceX, you will contribute to history by creating space suits for our future missions. You will create space suits and crew equipment that are designed with three main goals: to be comfortable, functional and have an innovative design.
Pay range:
Level I: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00/per year
Level II: $88,000.00 - $105,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
