Job summary

Gravitics, based in the United States, is seeking engineers to work on full product lifecycles for space-grade structures, including pressurized structures and tooling. You will collaborate with design engineers to validate designs, perform rigorous stress analyses using FEM tools, and contribute to test planning and data interpretation.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in mechanical or aerospace engineering, a bachelor’s in the relevant field, and hands-on experience with hand calculations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 3+ years experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Experience with non-conformances dispositioning.
• Hand calculations using free-body diagrams for loads.

Responsibilities

• Partner with design engineers to validate and optimize structural designs.
• Perform stress, deflection, stability, and margin analyses using FEM and hand calculations.
• Support subsystem test planning, data reduction and analysis.
• Provide analysis checks for junior analysts and designers.
• Prepare technical content and present to internal/external customers.
• Assess damage or out of tolerance conditions and guide repairs.
