Recruiting From Scratch is representing a venture-backed hardware company in Los Angeles developing space solar hardware. We seek a Testing & Qualification Lead to own the testing lifecycle for high-reliability space hardware.

You will develop rigorous test protocols, analyze results, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with design teams to drive safe, robust hardware for space missions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering with a focus on testing and qualification.
• Experience in hardware testing, particularly in aerospace or robotics.
• Strong analytical skills with data analysis and reporting experience.
• Familiarity with testing equipment and methodologies for hardware engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing and qualification processes for advanced space solar hardware systems.
• Develop and implement rigorous testing protocols to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing feedback into design improvements.
• Analyze test data to identify trends and areas for enhancement, driving continuous improvement.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices for testing methodologies and quality assurance.
• Prepare detailed documentation and reports on testing outcomes for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the testing lifecycle.
