Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced RF Test Technician for cutting edge space and defense products. You will perform RF and electronic testing, troubleshooting, and assembly on a wide range of complex electronic systems.

Use DMMs, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and other gear to conduct tests, document results, and maintain records. Collaborate with engineering to solve problems; adhere to ESD protocols and aerospace tool usage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technician experience, ideally in space/aerospace.
• Soldering proficiency and wide range of electronic equipment experience.
• Familiarity with aerospace assembly and inspection tools.
• RF testing and troubleshooting experience (preferred).
• J-STD with space addendum certified (preferred).
• IPC or NASA harnessing certified (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF and electronic testing, troubleshooting, and assembly on complex systems.
• Use DMMs, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and more to test and inspect.
• Adhere to ESD protocols to protect components.
• Utilize aerospace tools such as torque wrenches, calipers, and feeler gauges.
• Carry out soldering per J-STD or NASA space addenda.
• Perform harnessing per IPC or NASA standards.
• Document test results and prepare test reports for analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering to identify and solve development issues.
