Job summary

Texas Instruments seeks a Validation Engineer for its Space Power product line. You will validate power ICs designed for harsh space environments, building and autmating tests across radiation-hardened and tolerant devices.

You will work with Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro X, Python, and NI TestStand to execute plans, collect data, and ensure datasheet limits are met. Collaboration spans design, systems, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing validation boards and HW test setups.
• Proficiency with Python-based automation and test sequencing.
• Familiarity with data analysis, statistics, and datasheet margins.

Responsibilities

• Define and own a validation plan across product families and use-cases.
• Design and build validation PCBs to meet space-grade requirements.
• Develop reusable automated test sequences using Python and NI TestStand.
• Coordinate validation with design, systems, tests, and quality teams.
• Analyze datasheet limits with statistical methods and drive decisions.
• Lead reviews of validation results, test boards, and debug findings.
• Perform experiments to isolate issues and validate root causes.
