Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking an Integration and Test Software Engineer 2 for the Linthicum, MD site. You will design, develop, and test software for space payloads, integrating test equipment and running automated verifications in a real-time embedded environment.

Requirements include a BS in a STEM field and 8+ years of relevant experience or 6 with a master's. Onsite work with potential TS/SCI in the future; healthcare and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or STEM field.
• Experience: 8+ years of software development for embedded real-time systems (or 6 years with a Master's, 3 with a PhD).
• Strong Python development and debugging skills, Linux/Windows environments, and software configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, operate, and maintain integration and test software for space payloads.
• Participate in cross-functional scrum teams and design reviews.
• Conduct peer reviews of software and technical documents for quality.
• Work through the full software development life cycle including testing and integration.
• Utilize Jenkins and Robot Framework for automated testing and verification.
• Prioritize tasks and collaborate with Technical Leads on implementations.
