Job summary

ASD is seeking an Integration and Test Software Engineer 2 to design, develop, and test software that manages test equipment for space payloads. The role will work on an agile team using Python, TCL, and C++, with automated testing via Jenkins and Robot Framework.

The position requires strong debugging and cross-functional teamwork, and is based on-site in Linthicum, MD, with eligibility for a DoD Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/engineering or related STEM field with required embedded software experience.
• 8+ years software development on embedded real-time systems or 6+ years with Master's or 3 years with PhD.
• Experience in Python development.
• Debugging and tracing existing code; strong problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, operate and maintain integration and test software for space payloads.
• Participate in cross-functional scrum teams; conduct peer reviews of software and designs.
• Support automated testing and verification using Jenkins and Robot Framework.
