Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Maryland seeks a Systems Engineer to support space subsystem and payload programs. You will lead requirements, architecture, modeling, and verification activities across mission engineering tasks.

The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and a strong background in systems engineering for space missions, with on-site collaboration in Linthicum, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in STEM with 2+ years relevant experience; or MS with 5 years; PhD with 0 years experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility/approval at time of application.
• Experience across requirements, architecture, modeling and simulation, integration/test, verification/validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support systems engineering tasks for space subsystems, payloads and vehicles.
• Develop and manage requirements and architecture; create CONOPs and interfaces.
• Perform modeling/simulation and trajectory analyses; plan verification and validation.
• Coordinate with mission engineering teams and perform risk/ cost analyses.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
