Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, execute, and assess training on operational space systems per standards and mission needs.
  • Support space control operations, mission planning, exercises, and real-world requirements.
  • Evaluate performance, identify trends, and provide data-driven readiness recommendations.
  • Coordinate instructors, facilities, equipment, and support personnel for training and certifications.
  • Support training baselines, crew allocation, and certification maintenance.
  • Develop schedules, SOPs, training materials, and operational documentation.
  • Contribute technical input for current and future space ops projects and capabilities.
  • Prepare reports and briefings for leadership across government and Radiance.

The successful candidate will join the Radiance Space Group and provide mission-critical support to the warfighter across current and emerging space operations requirements.Under Government oversight, the Space Operations Lead will support activities associated with space control operations and capabilities, terrestrial-based space systems, operational planning, training and certification, exercises, and Test and Evaluation (T&E). The position will support the development and maintenance of schedules, checklists, standard operating procedures (SOPs), training products, and mission and policy documentation. The Space Operations Lead will also provide planning and technical expertise in support of exercises and real-world operations, contribute to current and future space control projects, and provide recommendations to Government and Radiance leadership.The anticipated compensation for the position is $100,000 -$130,000 based on a full-time schedule. Your compensation will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience, and education.**Responsibilities*** Plan, coordinate, execute, and assess individual and collective training on operational space systems in accordance with applicable standards and mission requirements.* Support space control operations, mission planning, exercises, training events, and real-world operational requirements.* Conduct evaluations, capture performance trends and lessons learned, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve operational capability and readiness.* Coordinate instructors, facilities, equipment, systems, and support personnel to facilitate scheduled training, evaluations, and certifications.* Support crew and system allocation for training exercises and maintain training and certification baselines.* Support operational Test and Evaluation activities, including planning, execution, data collection, analysis, and documentation of findings.* Develop and maintain schedules, checklists, SOPs, training materials, operational documentation, and other technical products.* Support exercise planning and execution across Army, joint, and other Department of Defense space organizations.* Provide technical and operational input for current and emerging space operations projects and capabilities.* Prepare technical reports, briefings, and recommendations for Government and company leadership.* Coordinate effectively with military, Government civilian, contractor, and industry partners in support of mission requirements.**Required Experience*** Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.* Experience supporting space operations, space control, SATCOM, or related operational missions.* Experience planning, coordinating, or executing training and readiness activities.* Experience supporting operational planning, exercises, evaluations, or mission execution.* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing and delivering technical information and leadership briefings.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and technical reporting.**Desired Qualifications*** Operational Test and Evaluation experience or knowledge.* Experience with tactical SATCOM, space control, Electronic Support (ES), Electronic Attack (EA), or related mission areas.* Experience planning and executing individual and collective training, certifications, and exercises.* Experience evaluating prototype or emerging capabilities and providing operator feedback.* Experience briefing senior military, Government, or organizational decision-makers.* Leadership or managerial experience.* Experience developing, maintaining, and assessing policies, procedures, SOPs, training products, or operational documentation.* Familiarity with Army Space and/or U.S. Space Force organizations, missions, and operational environments.* Bachelor's degree or five years of relevant space operations/space control experience in lieu of a degree.Radiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
