Impulse Space is offering a Space Operations Engineering Intern position for Summer 2027 in Redondo Beach. You will assist with planning, development, and testing of mission operations, working with engineers on simulations, test campaigns, and procedure development.

As a Space Operations Engineer Intern at Impulse Space, you'll support real-world spacecraft missions by assisting with the planning, development, and testing of mission operations. you'll work closely with experienced engineers on a variety of tasks ranging from simulation support to test execution and procedure development. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-time spacecraft operations and mission-level engineering, and operations for ambitious near-Earth and interplanetary missions.

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
