Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Space Systems Engineer at Kirtland AFB, NM to translate customer needs into MBSE-based requirements and drive system-of-systems architecture. The role involves risk assessment, interface management, and verification activities with a focus on MBSE models for integration.

You will work closely with program management to ensure program integrity in a fast-paced environment, supporting development and definition of MBSE-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, physics, CS, or computer engineering with 14+ years of relevant experience (Master’s with 12+ years).
• Active Top Secret or DoE Q clearance with SCI eligibility; must obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs into technical requirements and specifications.
• Support MBSE-driven integration and systems-of-systems architecture.
• Lead MBSE projects and integration testing with program management involvement.
• Develop and refine model-based engineering processes across the program.
