Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support a critical national defense space mission from Fort Belvoir. You will deliver timely intelligence to mission leaders and partners, shaping assessments and responses to evolving counterspace threats.

You’ll collaborate with flight safety, engineering, and planning teams to drive operational improvements and resilience. The role emphasizes deep expertise in space threats, I&W integration, and executive-level briefings for military and civilian

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years w/o a degree or 10 years with AS/AA or 8 years with BS/BA; or 6 years with MS/MA or 3 years with PhD
• Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated Polygraph
• All-source intelligence analysis experience and collection requirements management
• Advanced knowledge of foreign and domestic space and ground-system threat capabilities
• 8+ years of experience supporting Defensive Space Control and/or intelligence analysis missions
• 2+ years of experience supporting the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)
• Experience delivering executive-level briefings and presentations
• Strong collaboration across multidisciplinary operational and intelligence teams

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time operations and analyze Intelligence Community reporting to produce intelligence products for decision-makers.
• Conduct research and develop assessments to enhance space domain awareness and mission planning.
• Provide expertise to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for mission improvement.
• Support training development, strategic planning, contingency planning, and exercises.
• Collaborate across flight safety, mission protection, engineering, strategy, planning and operations to address requirements.
• Maintain crew certifications and proficiency for real-world operations and exercises.
• Monitor and report on significant space-related events and changes in threat levels.
• Participate in 24/7 crew operations during mission events and high tempo periods.
• Lead meetings and briefings with senior military and civilian stakeholders.
• Contribute to intelligence collection prioritization and knowledge gap reduction.
