Job summary

EVONA, collaborating with a Space client in Los Angeles, seeks an Electrical Engineer to work across the full design, build and test lifecycle for space-bound hardware. You will contribute to PCB development, schematic capture, and flight hardware layouts in a hands-on lab environment alongside the Chief Engineer.

You will design power distribution, interface sensors with digital layers, and support integration and testing of electronic systems for both customer programs and next-generation

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of electrical engineering experience with hands-on design and lab work.
  • Strong analog and digital circuit design skills.
  • Experience with PCB design tools (schematic capture and layout).
  • Proficiency with test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters).
  • Experience and ability to work with a fast paced, autonomously driven, and high performance team.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop PCBs and electronic assemblies for telescope instruments and satellite subsystems.
  • Create schematics, perform circuit simulation, and lay out boards for flight and engineering model hardware.
  • Design power distribution, regulation, and conversion systems for space-rated hardware.
  • Interface sensors, detectors, and actuators with the digital and software layers.
  • Support integration, testing, and debugging of electronic systems in the lab
  • Contribute to next-generation mission hardware architecture alongside the chief engineer.
