Job summary

E-Space in Saratoga, CA is seeking Electrical Engineering Lab Technicians to build, test, and debug satellite avionics hardware. You will assemble prototype boards, create cable assemblies, operate test equipment, and support engineers through the full hardware development cycle.

The role involves lab bring-up, environmental test prep, and collaboration with subcontractors, with compensation in the six-figure range and full-time exempt status. Sponsorship is not available for this location.

Qualifications

• Assemble and rework prototype PCBs using SMT and through-hole techniques.
• Build cable and wire-harness assemblies with crimping and connectorization.
• Operate lab test equipment for board-level testing and measurements.
• Support engineers with lab setups, instrumentation, and measurements.
• Perform board modifications per engineering change orders.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and rework prototype PCBs including SMT, fine-pitch, and through-hole soldering.
• Build cable assemblies and harnesses with proper routing and strain relief.
• Operate test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, analyzers) for validation.
• Assist with lab setups and measurements for board bring-up.
• Maintain lab calibration schedules and cleanliness; support environmental tests.
