Job summary

DLS Engineering is seeking a Space Force Sensitive Activities Analyst to support USSF Combat Forces Command in Colorado Springs, CO. The role requires DoW sensitive activities experience, ISM knowledge, and the ability to work on SAP-read requirements.

The ideal candidate will have Top-Secret/SCI clearance, citizenship, and willingness to undergo government background checks. Travel may be required as part of mission support.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of DoW sensitive activities experience required.
  • 7+ years of DoW sensitive activities experience desired.
  • Active Top-Secret w/SCI clearance required.
  • Ability to be read onto Special Access Programs (SAP) required.
  • Must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Providing direct support to USSF sensitive activity stakeholders throughout the operational lifecycle, including mission analysis, planning, staffing, and implementation.
  • Creating, sustaining, and implementing plans for USSF operations.
  • Creating annexes to plans and amending plans as mission requirements evolve.
  • Understanding and applying DoW policy requirements for ISM and applying to operations, planning, and force development.
  • Conducting open-source research, as directed by the client, in preparation for mission analysis and threat assessments.
  • Applying identity management protocols to assess risk to personnel and missions and provide mitigation strategies to decision makers.
  • Developing and maintaining familiarity working within the Joint and SOF Community (processes, structure, C2, etc.).
  • Identifying, establishing, and maintaining liaison contacts and communications within Service and DoW program channels for formal and informal coordination to effectively leverage and expedite support to the development, staffing, activation, execution, and termination of plans as well as other required actions and communications.
  • Assisting the government in creating and maintaining accountability of mechanisms.
  • Reporting significant events/incidents.

Space Force Sensitive Activities Analyst (On-site Colorado Springs, CO)

DLS Engineering (DLS) is seeking a Space Force Sensitive Activities Analyst to join our team supporting the United States Space Force (USSF) Combat Forces Command, Sensitive Activities Division office/staff in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in Department of War (DoW) sensitive activities and identity and signature management (ISM). The government client anticipates a high level of knowledge on the full breadth of sensitive activities supporting worldwide operations.

A Day In The Life

  • 3+ years of DoW Sensitive Activities experience required.
  • 7+ years of DoW Sensitive Activities experience desired.
  • Highly knowledgeable on systems leveraged for ISM implementation.
  • BA/BS degree desired or additional 5 years’ experience.
  • JCITA Foundations of Sensitive Support (FOSS) Course or legacy equivalent, Advanced Technician Course (ATC), or (Advanced Planners Course (APC) + Due Diligence Course (DDC))
  • Active Top-Secret w/SCI clearance required
  • Ability to be read onto Special Access Programs (SAP), required.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
Other Information
  • The salary range for this position is $100k-$115k per annum. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience and could fall outside of this range.
  • Relocation benefits may be provided on a case-by-case basis.
