Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Facilities Project Engineer – Specialist III to provide day-to-day project coordination and technical support for facility planning, design, renovation, and construction projects at our El Segundo, CA facility.

Under guidance of a Project Manager, you will assist with planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and closeout to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget, in alignment with organizational standards.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in construction, engineering, architecture, facilities, or project management.
• U.S. citizenship required to obtain security clearance.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery from planning to closeout for capital improvement, renovation, and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders on design and construction.
• Assist with budget tracking, cost monitoring, and procurement activities.
• Maintain project schedules and milestone tracking; identify schedule risks and recovery plans.
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and status updates for leadership.
