Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an experienced Enterprise Systems Engineer to contribute to defense, intelligence, and civil government programs. This full-time on-site role in El Segundo requires leading system-of-systems engineering, portfolio planning, and architecture efforts across a diverse national space portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in systems engineering, proficiency with SysML and tools like Cameo and SparX, and DoDAF/UAF experience. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, science, or other related technical discipline.
• Typically 8 years of increasingly responsible experience in systems engineering or related space disciplines.
• Experience in systems engineering, enterprise systems engineering, model-based systems engineering, and/or digital engineering.
• Familiar with SysML and tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler and SparX Enterprise Architecture.
• Experience with DoDAF or UAF frameworks.
• Take initiative and work in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills and time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise architecture, system-of-systems engineering, and portfolio planning to shape mission landscapes.
• Develop portfolio-level models and roadmaps for data-driven decisions.
• Bridge government, internal initiatives, and partners to create cohesive enterprise solutions.
• Lead high-impact studies and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Provide engineering and analytical support across defense, intelligence, and civil domains.
• Identify new capabilities to advance customer programs and architectures.
• Collaborate with program offices and customers on strategic projects.
