Job summary

Blue Origin in the United States invites internships where you will work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects across Software Development, Aerospace Systems Engineering, Embedded Software, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Propulsion/Fluids Engineering, and Test Engineering.

You will gain hands-on, real-world experience with mentorship from leaders, participate in events to learn about other parts of our organization, and contribute to a culture of safety,

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one semester or quarter remaining after the internship.
• Must have completed at least one year of full-time coursework post-high-school graduation (sophomore standing).
• Must be available to work full time while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
• Must possess strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a passion for space.

Responsibilities

• As part of a hardworking team, interns work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects in support of our business units.
• Gain hands-on, real-world experience and mentorship from mentors and managers.
• Participate in events to learn about other parts of our organization.
